Anodize remover - 16oz or 1 gallon sizes.

This concentrated formula is mixed with warm water to make a solution to completely strip the anodized coating from aluminum trim and parts.  This product leaves a dull surface that can be easily buffed to a mirror finish using our a soft buffing wheel and #739 white compound.

Anodize Coating Remover Instructions:

Directions: Mix 4-5 Tablespoons of anodize powder per 1 gallon of warm/hot water in a plastic or stainless container. (Cold water will not activate the solution) Stir until completely dissolved. Place parts into container for 5-10 minutes. (solution should begin to bubble) Remove parts and rinse with cold water, Use Jestco Products #739 White compound and buff to a mirror finish. Some anodize coating are thicker and will need to be dipped into solution for an additional amount of time. It is recommended to try a sample part before beginning.

Caution: Use outside in well-ventilated area Wear protective gloves, mask and eye protection as needed. Keep container sealed tightly and out of reach of children.

Dispose of properly by diluting with cold water.
