Stainless Steel
Step 1 - Begin by applying #739 compound (white - polish) to a buffing wheel and buff part. Re-apply compound to buffing wheel as necessary. This will buff the part to a mirror like finish. Many stainless trim parts can be completed with only this compound. Only use the abrasives below if necessary.
Step 2- (If necessary) Use #755 compound (gray - mild abrasive) on a separate buffing wheel to remove any scratches that remain after step 1. Repeat step 1 to achieve the mirror finish.
Aluminum casting, Mag wheels, Brass castings.
Step 1 - Use #737 compound (black heavy abrasive) on a separate buffing wheel to remove heavy scratches and oxidation. this compound cuts aggressively and smoothes the surface. The #759 Tripoli compound (optional)can be used on top of the abrasive to give it a smoother finish.

Notes:
· Use #789 (Red) jewelers compound with a clean buffing pad for the finest finish. This compound can be used on all metals with a soft buffing wheel for the best possible finish.
· Use buffing rake #779 to periodically clean and soften the surface of the buffing wheel. Use after every 5-6 application of compound
· Use #920 Wenol polish with a soft rag to further clean and polish the surface and protect the surface. Using an orbital polisher is recommended for removal of swirls marks.
· Always wear protective gloves, Respirator and eye protection.
